Spring Lake Park is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Osseo 11-0 on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Spring Lake Park with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Mounds View was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of East Ridge by a score of 1-0. Mounds View's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Spring Lake Park's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 7-6-1. As for Mounds View, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-3.

Spring Lake Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Mounds View in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
