Basketball Recap: Somerset Tech Takes a Loss

Somerset Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 67-45 to the Highland Park Owls. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-59 back in January.

Somerset Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Highland Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somerset Tech will head out to take on Warren County Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Somerset Tech is facing Warren County Tech at the right time seeing as Warren County Tech is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Highland Park, they will take on Metuchen at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
