Volleyball Recap: Englewood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Englewood lost against The Pinnacle back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Timberwolves.

While Englewood ultimately came up short, they really made The Pinnacle work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24, 25-20.

Kira Cole paced Englewood's offense, picking up 14 kills. Cole got some help from Eden Thomas and her nine assists. Thomas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Englewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for The Pinnacle, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Englewood is headed away from home for the first time to take on Alameda at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Pinnacle, they will face off against Wheat Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
