Volleyball Recap: East Wilkes Takes a Loss

East Wilkes lost against West Wilkes back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cardinals fell 3-1 to the Blackhawks.

While East Wilkes ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23.

East Wilkes' loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for West Wilkes, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

East Wilkes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Wilkes, they will face off against North Wilkes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
