Soccer Recap: Carolina International Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sugar Creek Charter last Friday, Carolina International came back down to earth. The Carolina International Comets came up short against the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots on Monday, falling 6-1. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Carolina International's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-4-1.

Looking ahead, Carolina International will welcome Jackson Day at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Carolina International has given up an average of 6.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they will head out on the road to challenge Highland Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
