The Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats won the last time they faced the Providence Athletic Club Panthers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics walked away with a 35-27 win over the Panthers.
Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics was led to victory by Gabriella Miller and Rylan Dundon. Miller scored 16 points along with four steals, while Dundon scored seven points along with 19 rebounds and four steals. Miller hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games.
Despite the defeat, Providence Athletic Club saw an underclassman step up: Anabel Catone scored 13 points along with eight steals. That was a full 48.1% of Providence Athletic Club's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Providence Athletic Club, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics will take on the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Faith Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Wildcats are ranked 120th). As for Providence Athletic Club, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Guardians at 6:30 p.m.
