Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Milton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Johns Creek only posted a batting average of .286.
Milton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Johns Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Milton is on the road again on Thursday to play Lanier at 6:00 p.m. Milton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Johns Creek, they will venture away from home to square off against Seckinger at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seckinger will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Johns Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
