Volleyball Recap: Crescent City Has No Trouble Against Interlachen

Crescent City lost to Interlachen back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Raiders blew past the Rams 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Crescent City walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20, 25-19.

Crescent City can attribute much of their success to Reagan Chayer, who had ten digs and three aces. What's more, Chayer racked up 16 assists, the most she's had since back in August.

Chayer wasn't the only good server: Crescent City was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in nine consecutive matchups.

Crescent City's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Interlachen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Crescent City is set to challenge their familiar foe Palatka at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Interlachen will take on rival Newberry at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
