After a string of seven wins, Harrison's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights by a score of 11-9. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Raiders, who until this game were averaging 3.23 runs allowed.

Harrison got a good showing from Porter Williams, who struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Williams has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
