Despite the loss, Providence-St. Mel got a solid performance out of Gerald Davis, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Hughes Jr., who scored 12 points.

Meanwhile, Uplift stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They really took it to Tilden for the full four quarters, racking up a 86-13 victory at home. Uplift pushed the score to 76-10 by the end of the third, a deficit Tilden had no chance of recovering from.

Providence-St. Mel has not been sharp recently as the team has lost 14 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. As for Uplift, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Everything came up roses for Providence-St. Mel against Uplift when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 75-41 victory. Does Providence-St. Mel have another victory up their sleeve, or will Uplift turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
