After only eight points in their last match, Hastings made sure to put some points up on the board against Rye Neck on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets took their game with ease, bagging a 42-6 victory over the Panthers. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Yellow Jackets had established a 29-point advantage.

The win got Hastings back to even at 1-1. As for Rye Neck, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hastings is set to take on their familiar foe Haldane at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. This will be the Yellow Jackets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Rye Neck will square off against rival Hendrick Hudson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will also give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
