Softball Recap: Torrington Comes Up Short

Torrington lost against St. Paul Catholic back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Raiders lost 13-3 to the Falcons. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Julia Rinaldi was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Torrington's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for St. Paul Catholic, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Torrington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Naugatuck on the 24th. As for St. Paul Catholic, they have also already played their next match, a 13-0 win against Ansonia on the 24th.
