Volleyball Game Preview: Rockwell Christian School Chargers vs. Calvary Christian Cougar

Rockwell Christian School is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Calvary Christian is on a seven-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Chargers will welcome the Cougar at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Rockwell Christian School made easy work of Abundant Life Christian Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian got the win against Raleigh Christian Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Calvary Christian was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-20.

Calvary Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Rockwell Christian School, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Rockwell Christian School couldn't quite get it done against Calvary Christian when the teams last played back in August as they fell 3-1. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
