Volleyball Recap: Sully Buttes Comes Up Short

Sully Buttes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lyman Raiders. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Sully Buttes' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lyman, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Sully Buttes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Philip on the 13th. As for Lyman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Jones County on the 13th.
