Basketball Recap: Crossroads Charter Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Crossroads Charter Academy duked it out withMason County Eastern on Tuesday. The Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars had to suffer through a 62-16 loss at the hands of the Mason County Eastern Cardinals. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Griffin Guernsey was Crossroads Charter Academy's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Bentley Freeman held things down on the boards with three rebounds.

Crossroads Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Mason County Eastern, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mesick the next time they take the court. Crossroads Charter Academy will host Mesick at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Mason County Eastern will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
