Carson has gone a perfect 10-0 against Concord recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cougars will head out to square off against the Spiders at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Carson has five straight victories, Concord has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Carson got the win against South Rowan by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Concord came up short against East Rowan on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Concord was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into East Rowan's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-22.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Carson, their win bumped their record up to 22-3.

Everything went Carson's way against Concord when the teams last played back in September, as Carson made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
