Softball Preview: Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks vs. United Christian Academy Crusaders

Miller School of Albemarle has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the United Christian Academy Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Thursday, Miller School of Albemarle was able to grind out a solid win over United Christian Academy, taking the game 8-5.

Emelia DelCarmen and Jordyn Lohr made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, DelCarmen struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Lohr struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk).
