Basketball Recap: Lindblom Piles Up the Points Against Gateway Legacy Christian Academy

Lindblom picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They blew past the Gateway Legacy Christian Academy Lions, posting a 79-39 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

William Occomy was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 57% from the field to rack up 34 points in addition to six boards and five assists. His big performance that evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Brytant, who posted nine points.

Lindblom now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gateway Legacy Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Lindblom wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-60 defeat against Crane Medical on the 2nd. As for Gateway Legacy Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-37 loss against Quincy on the 29th.
