Eisenhower came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-2 to the Newton Railroaders. Eisenhower have struggled against Newton recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-2. As for Newton, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Coming up, Eisenhower will venture away from home to take on Andover on Tuesday. As for Newton, they will welcome Salina Central on Tuesday.
