Basketball Recap: Plevna Comes Up Short

After flying high against Powder River County last Friday, Plevna came back down to earth. The Plevna Cougars fell 56-45 to the Garfield County Mustangs on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

Plevna's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Garfield County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-6.

Plevna is taking a road trip to challenge Terry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Terry will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Plevna surely won't give up without a fight. Garfield County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
