In what's become a running theme this season, Williamson gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past the Canton Warriors 17-2. The win was familiar territory for Williamson who now have three in a row.

Olivia Gee made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Gee was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played.

In other batting news, Bailee Smith was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Mikenna Buchannan was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

On Canton's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nevaeh Vroman, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Williamson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Canton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
