Volleyball Recap: Sutherland Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Sutherland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Mendon Vikings 3-0 on Tuesday. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Sutherland walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.

Leah Klueber paced Sutherland's offense, picking up 19 kills. Klueber got some help from Chloe Cunniffe and her 35 assists.

Sutherland's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-2-2. As for Mendon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, Sutherland and Mendon will both be playing Honeoye Falls-Lima the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Vikings will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
