Estrella Foothills is a perfect 5-0 against Cactus since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Estrella Foothills Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the Cactus Cobras at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Estrella Foothills has nine straight wins, Cactus has 18 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Estrella Foothills is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Westview: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Estrella Foothills blew Westview out of the water with an 84-17 final score. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22 contests by 30 points or more this season.

Estrella Foothills got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eva Amenhauser out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 boards. Thanks to that strong game, Amenhauser now owns an excellent 44.4% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Nemo Sidhu, who went 9 for 21 to rack up 22 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Estrella Foothills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Cactus had to suffer through a 78-22 loss at the hands of Peoria. While losing is never fun, the Cobras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Panthers are ranked 80th).

Estrella Foothills pushed their record up to 28-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.0 points over those games. As for Cactus, their loss dropped their record down to 1-20.

Everything came up roses for Estrella Foothills against Cactus in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as the team secured a 102-11 victory. In that match, Estrella Foothills amassed a halftime lead of 61-5, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
