Soccer Recap: Waukegan Takes a Loss

Waukegan's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Wauconda by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Waukegan of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Yarely Munoz and Jocelyn Rogel scored both of Waukegan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Waukegan now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Wauconda, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Waukegan has already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Grant Community on the 8th. As for Wauconda, they will face off against Lake Forest at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
