Softball Recap: Old Town Coyotes vs. Bangor Rams

While Old Town's win against Bangor wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Coyotes' pitcher stepped up to hand the Rams a 2-0 shutout on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Coyotes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not much got past Haley Sirois, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Bangor off the board. Sirois has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Natalie Fournier was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
