Forney is a perfect 3-0 against Longview since December of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Jackrabbits will challenge the Lobos at 7:00 p.m. Forney has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.

On Thursday, Forney was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 68-67 to Royse City. The defeat continues a trend for the Jackrabbits in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Longview was beaten by Rockwall 70-39 on Friday.

Forney's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Longview, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

Everything went Forney's way against Longview in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, as Forney made off with a 63-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jackrabbits since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
