The Northview Vikings will face off against the Covina Colts at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Northview's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Northview's offense. They fell just short of Charter Oak by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Covina hasn't lost a match since January 7th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Everything went their way against West Covina as they made off with a 4-1 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Covina's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Covina's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Northview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.
