            Volleyball Recap: Houston Hurricanes vs. Cotter Ramblers        
        
		
        
        
            Houston lost against Cotter back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. The Hurricanes took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ramblers. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 The final score came out to 25-15,  25-12.
Houston's offense was headlined by  Lydia Pedretti and  Averie Evanson, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from  Olivia Yohe and her seven assists.
 Cotter found their leader in sophomore  Sydney Repinski, who  had 13  digs and six  assists. Repinski has been hot, having  posted 13 or more  digs the last eight times she's  played.
Houston's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cotter, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.
 Houston has already played their next matchup,  a  2-0  defeat against Lourdes on the 6th. As for Cotter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  win against Simley on the 6th.
