Eastside College Prep's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Mountain View Academy Mustangs with a sharp 66-42 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Mountain View Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Daniel Malo, who went 8 of 19 on his way to 24 points and three steals, and Caleb Penaflorida, who posted 12 points. Malo has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played.

Eastside College Prep's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.8 points. As for Mountain View Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Eastside College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-46 victory against Pinewood on the 31st. As for Mountain View Academy, they will welcome Mid-Peninsula at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
