Basketball Game Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Hancock Eagles

Reavis has gone a perfect 6-0 against Hancock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rams will head out to take on the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Reavis has given up an average of 61.4 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Reavis came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against Oak Forest, falling 64-34. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Bengals: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Hancock posted their closest win since January 27, 2025 on Wednesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 45-44 victory over Holy Trinity.

Hancock has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Reavis, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Reavis strolled past Hancock when the teams last played back in January of 2025 by a score of 49-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
