Softball Recap: Elizabeth Comes Up Short

Elizabeth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 19-1 to the Fairview Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Elizabeth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carra Ardoin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Elizabeth's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Fairview, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elizabeth will head out to face off against Rapides at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairview, they will venture away from home to take on Grant at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
