Lexington Christian won the last time they faced Nelson County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Jillian Weaver paced Lexington Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Weaver got some help from Rachel Rice and her 11 assists. Madeleine Eubank controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lexington Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Nelson County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Looking ahead, Lexington Christian will square off against Boyle County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nelson County, they will venture away from home to face off against Taylor County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
