Recap: Ocosta Wildcats vs. North Beach Hyaks
The Ocosta Wildcats lost to the North Beach Hyaks back in January, but the Ocosta Wildcats didn't allow the North Beach Hyaks the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Ocosta took down North Beach 48-31. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Ocosta has managed all season.
Ocosta's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anna Davis, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds. Davis is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Alexia Bradley, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Ocosta now has a winning record of 4-3. As for North Beach, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ocosta will be home for the holidays to greet Crescent at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Beach will be home for the holidays to greet Raymond/South Bend at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
