The Plano Wildcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Marcus 53-7. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Plano in their matchups with Marcus: they've now lost five in a row.

Marcus found their leader in underclassman Derrick Martin iii, who rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown. Martin iii's longest rush was for an incredible 93 yards. Brock Golwas also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Plano's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-2 Lewisville and 6-4 Plano East (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 60% over those games).
