Softball Game Preview: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Glendale Cardinals

The Copper Canyon Aztecs will square off against the Glendale Cardinals at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Copper Canyon lost 18-1 to La Joya Community on Thursday. The Aztecs have struggled against the Fighting Lobos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Copper Canyon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Goldie Chambers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Mohave, falling 13-2.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Copper Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
