Baseball Recap: Juanita Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Juanita kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastside Catholic Crusaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ravens of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Josh Harris was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.

At the plate, Juanita saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Mcjunkin, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Looking ahead, Juanita will venture away from home to square off against Redmond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastside Catholic, they will take on De La Salle at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st.
