Basketball Recap: Raytown Takes a Loss

Raytown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Rolla Bulldogs and fell 59-14. The game marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Raytown's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Rolla, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Raytown will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Belton at 6:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Raytown is facing Belton at the right time seeing as Belton is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Rolla, they will square off against Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
