Volleyball Recap: Slinger Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Slinger won the last time they faced Appleton North and things went their way on Friday too. The Owls walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lightning.

Miley Quade paced Slinger's offense, picking up eight kills. Quade got some help from Ella Kohnen and her 16 assists. Malena Benz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Slinger has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Appleton North, they dropped their record down to 1-22 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Slinger didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Oconomowoc on the 27th. As for Appleton North, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against West Bend East on the 27th.
