Summit Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jhency Pabon, who scored 11 points. Alana Rivers was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 3 steals.
Floral Park Memorial's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Summit Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-1.
Floral Park Memorial will take on Kings Park in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at. As for Summit Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against McKinney School of Art at 5:00 p.m.
