Basketball Recap: Utah Prep Wins High-Profile Contest Against Christ School

Utah Prep is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Christ School. The Utah Prep Athletes secured a 64-58 W over the Christ School Greenies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Athletes.

Christ School lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zymicah Wilkins, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Madden Collins, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Utah Prep's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Christ School, they moved to 27-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Utah Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-51 defeat against Dynamic Prep on the 8th. As for Christ School, they have also already played their next matchup, a 63-60 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 8th.
