Soccer Game Preview: Peach County vs. Northside

The Peach County Trojans will head out to take on the Northside Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Peach County has three straight victories, Northside has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Last Friday, Peach County beat Cairo 3-1.

Meanwhile, Northside scored the most goals they've had this season last Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 10-2 to Thomas County Central. While losing is never fun, Northside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 384th, while Thomas County Central are ranked 74th).

Peach County pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six matchups. As for Northside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
