Football Recap: Woodrow Wilson Takes a Loss

Woodrow Wilson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Downey Vikings, falling 27-0.

Downey's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madeline Garcia, who threw for 100 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of her passes. The dominant performance also gave Garcia a new career-high in passer rating (150).

Woodrow Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Downey, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.
