Baseball Recap: East Bay Indians vs. Newsome Wolves
East Bay's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Newsome Wolves. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.
Knox Myers looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk).
On the hitting side, East Bay's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Trenden Norman, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Connor Gavigan was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
