Volleyball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Burbank Titans.

Valley was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Burbank work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 26-24.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Burbank, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Johnson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be Johnson's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Burbank, they will head out on the road to face off against Laguna Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Laguna Creek will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Burbank surely won't give up without a fight.
