Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Van Buren

Van Buren had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Mount St. Mary Academy Belles 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Pointers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Jada Perryman had a dynamite game, getting 42 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 16 games she's played.

Van Buren's victory bumped their record up to 17-7-1. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 21-4 record.

Van Buren has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Marion on the 29th. Mount St. Mary Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
