Basketball Recap: Burton Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Burton Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Yavneh Academy Bulldogs 57-12. The matchup marked the Angels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Yavneh Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake Yalovsky, who posted nine points and seven assists. Yalovsky is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Daniel Sharvit was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Burton Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Yavneh Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burton Adventist Academy will face off against Lakehill Prep at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Yavneh Academy, they will square off against North Dallas Adventist Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
