Basketball Recap: Cora Presson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Forsyth

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask School of the Ozarks). They blew past the Forsyth Panthers 52-32 on Friday.

School of the Ozarks' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cora Presson led the charge by putting up ten points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Those five assists gave Presson a new career-high. Claire Knight was another key player, earning eight points and eight boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: School of the Ozarks was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory got School of the Ozarks back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. School of the Ozarks will challenge Pleasant Hope at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forsyth, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Lockwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
