Soccer Game Preview: FAU High vs. Pine Crest

FAU High hasn't had much luck against Pine Crest recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Owls will welcome the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

FAU High proved they can win big on November 13th (they won by nine) and last Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat Dr. Joaquin Garcia by a goal, winning 2-1.

Maiya Castillo was the driving force of FAU High's attack as she scored both of FAU High's goals, bringing her season total up to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Pine Crest waltzed into their match last Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Pine Crest's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Pine Crest's win bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for FAU High, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
