Soccer Game Preview: Fenwick vs. Fenton

The Fenwick Friars will take on the Fenton Bison at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fenwick is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Fenwick is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over Roosevelt. Luke Menacho had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Fenwick got from the refs.

Meanwhile, Fenton kept a clean sheet against Elmwood Park on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Tigers. Hugo Vidals had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Fenton.

Fenwick's record now sits at 12-5-1. As for Fenton, their record is now 11-4-5.

Fenwick skirted past Fenton 2-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2021. Will the Friars repeat their success, or do the Bison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
