Basketball Game Preview: Niceville Eagles vs. Pace Patriots

The Niceville Eagles just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Pace Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Niceville came up short against Tate and fell 60-50. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Aggies 16-8 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Pace fought the good fight in their overtime game against West Florida on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Jaguars. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Niceville, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Everything went Niceville's way against Pace in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as Niceville made off with a 58-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Niceville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
